Haha first of all thank you very much for your kind words and taking the time to comment! Second of all I'm glad you enjoyed the video, as it was the talk of our office the past two days :) That's what you can expect each Friday here at the blog from now on! Thirdly, your comment is exactly what I was hoping people would do in response to this, add to the conversation (and do it in an equally funny way!)!

I definitely agree with you that people resist change by nature, but oftentimes if we step back and look at it, it's a good idea to roll with the change. In this case, change is good because it is healthier and will help the entire family in the long run. Unfortunately, this lil kid got too caught up in the moment and got the heck outta there before he could experience any of the benefits of the change.

Thanks again Elisa and have a great (looooong) weekend!

Of course! I always enjoy seeing what made your list each week! I agree that if something's a bad fit, it's going to start affecting you both in and out of work and you need to either take action to make it better or simply find a new one. This may not be right away, but when the time is right.

First of all, that video was hilarious! Second of all, the fact that you were able to bring in these business lessons to be learned is brilliant. Third of all, if I had a Friday Linky Love this would be on it!

While I agree in the grand scheme of what you are saying I also think there is something to be said for stubbornness to change. Now don't get me wrong, I personally feel that bacon should be a food group all unto itself, but I also acknowledge that it MIGHT not always be the best food source you could put into your body. Especially considering everything else that was in that fridge!

Maybe that "smart lil' girl" really IS smart and doing something radically different that will change the health of the organization/family. And when you just pack up your wheely suitcase and storm out, never to let the changer see your face again, who really loses in that situation?

Hey, thanks for including my Friday Linky Love. There's so much goodness each week, I just have to remember to save and file and post each Friday ;)

I think your last point, know when you pack your bags can be challenging but it's important. How long should you stay with a job if you dislike everything about it? Should you be tough and just go through it? I honestly think there are good and bad fits...and no matter what, it will probably wear you down if it's a bad fit.
